Day one of the North Cascades Bluegrass Festival has come to a close and what a fantastic day it was! Top bands from all over and ending up with the Kruger Brothers on the final set! One more day to go - can't wait! Note to Uri Kohen - check out the side stage banner in the photo!
Wow, Wow, Wow. The weather is fantastic, the crowds are rolling in, the workshops have been fantastic and the bands are awesome. This year our festival is also hosted by the Kruger Brothers. What an absolute treat. They are amazing human beings and lest I forget, so are the volunteers who help make this the festival that it is. Tomorrow is another round of workshops, incredible weather and wonderful entertainment from our performing artists. Come on out to the Deming Log show and bring the kids. Bands play until 7:45 tonight with the Pro Jam starting at 8:30pm and tomorrow bands start playing at 9am. Lots of food and craft vendors as well. Don't forget your chairs. Check out our web page at ncbf.fun under schedules for times and places for the bands and the workshops.Tomorrow
The first annual Kruger Brothers Mini Academy at the North Cascades Bluegrass Festival is in the can and I think that it's safe to say that a good time was had by all! Here are a few candid shots from the academy. Now on to the actual festival starting tomorrow at 9am with the Access living show case stage! Festival passes are still available at the door so come on out to one of the best festivals in the Pacific Northwest...if we do say so ourselves!
