Ready to join us for a grand ole’ time?

News from the NCBF!Greetings and Happy Holidays from the North Cascades Bluegrass Festival! It’s been a little over two months since this year’s festival and we wanted to take a few moments to catch everyone up with what’s going on at the festival as we look forward to 2023. First and foremost be sure to save the following date: Saturday, September 2nd and Sunday, September 3rd, 2023 aka Labor Day Weekend. The sharp-eyed amongst you might realize that we have opted to revert back to our original 2-day format instead of the 3-day format that we tried this year. There are a number of reasons why we are going back to 2 days however the main reason is that we simply felt that 2 days was a better length of time for our festival over all. Of course, camping will still be available both before and after the weekend as we have done in the past. The exact dates camping will be available will be announced shortly. One thing that will be returning next year is our Pro-Jam which we held for the first time this year to much acclaim. We will be making some tweaks to it however the general idea will stay the same i.e. the pro musicians will be separated in to multiple groups for jamming purposes including with qualified amateurs. In addition, as we have done every year since the beginning, we also will be holding workshops put on by the pro musicians playing at the festival. And new next year, we are planning on introducing a Kid Musicians Camp to the festival. While we are still working out the details of the camp, we are excited about the camp and are looking forward to making it a permanent part of the festival. Look for more details in the coming days and weeks about the camp.HELP WANTED!Putting on a Bluegrass Festival takes a lot of people and resources and for sure we couldn’t do it without a “Heap ‘O Volunteers” to make it happen. While most volunteer positions are needed for the weekend of the festival, we do also have need for individuals who would like to be more engaged with the festival throughout the year. Two key positions that we are currently looking to fill are: 1.) Sponsorship Director and 2.) Volunteer Coordinator. Both of these positions are critical to the success of the festival and are key players in the management of the festival. If you or someone you know would be interested in either position please drop us a line at info@ncbf.fun and let us know. Be sure to include your contact information so that we can get back in touch with you.AND FINALLY…We are putting the finishing touches on our lineup for next year’s festival and while we are not quite ready to announce it, it’s going to be one you won’t want to miss! ...
