Access Living Showcase Application

Labor Day Weekend, August 31st, – September 1st, 2024

Access Living Showcase

The North Cascades Bluegrass Festival greatly appreciates the support it receives from the Pacific Northwest Bluegrass Community including the numerous US and Canadian bands that call the region home.  Without these bands, opportunities to hear live bluegrass music locally would be greatly reduced.  To encourage these bands to “keep up the good work”, the North Cascades Bluegrass Festival has established a tradition of providing an opportunity for them to perform during the festival’s Access Living Showcase.

How It Works

The Access Living Showcase consists of six 45-50 minute sets during the festival – 3 on Saturday and 3 on Saturday.  Because the number of bands wishing to play at the festival typically exceeds the number of available sets, an application process has been established for bands to apply to perform as part of the Access Living Showcase.  Click Here To Apply.  Please note that bands are selected by the festival’s Executive Committee and all selections are final.

What Each Selected Band Receives

While the festival is unable to pay bands for their showcase performances, each band member of the selected bands will receive 1 Full Weekend Pass ($60 value) for the performing band member and their guest, and 1 Dry Camping Pass for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ($60 value).

Each selected band will also receive a short write-up on the festival’s website (https://ncbf.fun) and in the festival’s printed program, both of which may include a link to its website and/or social media site.  Additionally, each band will be given the opportunity to sell band merchandise during and after the band’s showcase performance.
